An excellent entry without CCs. Toplines seem far more varied than I
can ever remember in the 23 years that I have closely followed the
breed. Movement was mixed overall but all were certainly fit for
function!
PD (4) 1 Drummond’s Glenlee Golden Eagle, 11 months
fawn, clear winner in class, compact with plenty of bone, soundly
constructed with nice straight front, free mover with no suggestion
of weakness, head developing nicely, dark eye of correct shape &
excellent ears for both size & set, a bright future ahead I’m sure.
RBD; 2 Cook’s Nkunde Chicken Vindaloo, 6 months dark brindle of
completely different type to 1. Another with good bone & plenty of
substance. Longer cast. Pleasing head with correct dome to forehead
& nice dark eye. Front could be straighter to advantage. Moves out
well when viewed in profile, plenty of time on his side; 3 Fisher &
Bootle’s Tommyville Tchopper at Grandesign. JD
(4,1a) 1 Mavro-Michaelis’ Shoebridge Buzet, brindle, stood out in
class being by far best for balance, strong neck of correct length,
nice roach to topline & nice low set tail, well constructed giving
rise to sound, free movement, well shaped head with dark expressive
eyes of correct shape; 2 Jennings’ Who’s The Daddy, tiger brindle.
Rather rangy. Good roach to topline, excellent ears for both size &
shape. Could use more width to underjaw. Very well handled; 3
Hutchinson’s Morvern Edward. PGD (3) 1 Wood’s Zon
Mirekl Stanley at Delightbull, dark brindle, won class on overall
soundness. Another I felt was rather long cast. Good roach to
topline with good cut up, muscular hindquarters, moderately
angulated, giving rise to firm rear action. Dark eye but could be
bigger to advantage. Well shown; 2 Davis’ Eastonite Diamond Geezer
at Rowendale, fawn, liked type better than 1 being more compact in
outline with plenty of bone & substance, strong head with nice broad
muzzle & good width to underjaw, excellent ears for size & set.
Failed in rear, lacking angulation spoiling overall picture; 3
Kennedy & Bootle’s Tommyville Too Many Bagels. LD
(2,1) 1 Kennedy’s Tax Man Tommyville, dark brindle, good size &
substance with useful amount of leg, well arched neck of correct
length, large skull with correct dome to forehead, excellent ears.
Could use tad more width to underjaw to advantage. Soundly
constructed, moves freely. OD (2) 1 Smith’s Ch
Sarabar Spirit Of The Mist, fawn. Well up to size but with
everything to like. Excels for type with strong, masculine head in
no way coarse, super bone, fabulous ear & eye, excellent width to
underjaw, super bone & substance, compact outline, strong neck of
correct length, so very well balanced, well constructed giving rise
to excellent side gait. BD; 2 Mavro-Michaelis’ Shoebridge Francs,
brindle of different type to 1 being smaller & tad longer cast.
Liked neck & typical roach to topline, nice dark eye. Would like
more width to underjaw. Nice side gait. Moving tad wide in front.
PB (11,3) 1 Drummond’s Glenlee Indian Charm,
delightful 11 month puppy, most beautiful clear fawn, super type
with beautiful feminine expression, excellent head with dark
expressive eyes of correct shape & size, fabulous ears, good width &
depth to muzzle, excellent side gait. Still rather immature but
another I predict will have bright future. RBB & just pipping
quality brother for BP; 2 Ollier’s Ageancourt Midnight Sun, 6½ month
dark brindle, another super puppy, very close up to 1, nice cobby
outline with good roach, head developing nicely with best of
expressions, correct eye & ear, nice width to underjaw, strong neck
of correct length, soundly constructed with free, easy movement; 3
Chambers’ Glenlee Indian Spirit at Luvum. JB (8,3)
1 Drummond’s Glenlee Spirit Dancer, fawn, quality & ultra compact,
so full of type with strong yet feminine head, excellent eye & ear,
well off for bone, super straight front, excellent mover viewed from
all angles. Could just use tad more length of loin; 2 Small’s
Shoebridge Lavilledieu at Merimna, dark brindle, another of quality.
Completely different type to 1. Beautiful head with dark expressive
eyes, excellent ears for size, set & carriage, good width to
underjaw, good neck & excellent roach to topline, moves soundly,
close up to 1; 3 Evans’ Tillcarr Eleonore. PGB
(4,1) 1 Beale’s Kagabea Dream Crystal, brindle, really liked, full
of quality, typical outline with nice length of neck, short cobby
body with correct roach & good tailset, quality head with feminine
expression, good eye & ear, good width to underjaw & good upturn,
straight front, another sound moving exhibit. Coat spoils; 2
Ollier’s Anashell Amatinka, brindle, quality, close up to 1, cobby
outline with good neck & nice roach to topline, excellent ears for
size, set & carriage, nice straight front. Not as angulated in rear
as 1. Moves well enough; 3 Fisher’s Grandesign’s Photogenic.
LB (4,3) 1 Smith’s Sarabar Fantasy Dreamer, fawn, alone but
worthy winner, good for size, bone & balance, moderate length neck &
nice roach to topline, strong yet feminine head with super ears,
nice dark eye, good width & depth to muzzle. Could just use tad more
rear angulation. Moves freely & with purpose. OB
(3) 1 Wildman’s Ch Wildax Miss Moneypenny, brindle, loved for
overall type & size, well balanced with correct length neck, short &
compact, well sprung rib, so soundly constructed, sheer pleasure to
watch on the move, excellent ears for size, shape & set, nice dark
eye giving rise to delightful feminine expression. For perfection
would like to see more typical topline. Overall package is very nice
indeed! BB & BOB; 2 Mavro-Michaelis’ Grandesigns Sweetheart
Shoebridge, brindle, another of quality. Not quite as compact as 1.
Strong arched neck of correct length, nice roach to topline, broad
chest, good ears for size & set, nice mover; 3 Howlett’s Redmist
Ruby Tuesday.
