An excellent entry considering there were no CCs on offer.
PD (6,2a) 1 Sygrove’s Robeta’s Storming Wind, almost a
year, brindle with beautiful head, eyes, ears & expression & good finish
of mouth, well filled front, strong bone, already well ribbed if a
little long coupled. Sound mover, very promising. BP; 2 Poulson’s
Brandoux Valentinoux, 8½ months fawn, shorter on leg than 1, but
excellent head type. Heavy bone, carries himself well. Just longer cast
than 1; 3 Fisher & Bootle’s Tommyville Tchopper at Grandesign.
PGD (8,3) 1 Drummond’s Glenlee Golden Eagle, cobby fawn of
quality, excellent head type, if pigment could be stronger. Well boned &
ribbed, nicely balanced & moved steadily & true. BD; 2 Eskrett’s
Ranacani Riddick Stoner, bigger, longer & lighter in eye than 1, so not
his shape & balance, but moved well & had adequate head; 3 Dealaselle’s
Kenocto Bundle Of Fun. OD (6,1) 1 Drummond’s Glenlee
Cheif Santos, cobby & shapely fawn with excellent outline & a look of
quality, lots of substance in a small frame & he moves briskly. Pleased
in skull, but I preferred the BD in foreface & he had wider nostrils.
Although somewhat pinched in nostrils, this dog had no problem
whatsoever breathing. RBD; 2 Greensmith’s Gizyjo Remmisson with Nachadbe,
standing this pied looked a real picture, combining type with substance
& head qualities if eye could be lighter. Moving up & down he
disappointed badly; 3 Smith’s Ch Sarabar Spirit Of The Mist.
PB (5,3) 1 Dunning & Clubley’s Frabull Black Velvet, 8
months brindle with lovely typical & feminine head with enchanting
expression, good width in front, well boned for her size & she moves
soundly. Just needs to come up on leg with maturity as at the moment she
looks rather long & low; 2 Roberts’ La Baiser Fudge Brownie, 6 months,
better balance of outline than 1, but not her head qualities not as
coordinated on the move. PGB (10,3) 1 Drummond’s
Glenlee Indian Charm, well balanced fawn, cobby & shapely with excellent
head type, good bone & substance, well finished mouth & steady movement.
Just couldn’t match the absolute star quality of the Open winner. RBB; 2
Beale’s Kargrays Diamond Dazzler, brindle, very light on her feet,
excellent head type, but rather narrow in front & brindling could be
more defined. Good bone & well ribbed; 3 Beale’s Kagabea Dream Crystal.
OB (6) 1 Drummond’s Glenlee Spirit Dancer, absolutely
outstanding young fawn bitch who I understand has won her title & beyond
since being entered & it is easy to understand why, classic head full of
expression with that look of fire & mischief that is so appealing,
strong quality bone, well ribbed with correct topline & strong well let
down hindquarters, cannot stand wrongly & moves accordingly, in lovely
bloom, she definitely has star quality in abundance, a truly great
example of the breed who I feel sure will end up in the history books.
BOB; 2 Wildman’s Wildax Miss Moneypenny, well known brindle full of
quality with a beautiful head & expression & in wonderful bloom, she is
a showgirl par excellence. I just wish she had a more correct topline as
it detracts from the overall picture; 3 Chapman & Conway’s Norcairn Dark
Angel.
