The CLUB
HANDBOOK:
a unique record of
the breed published every two to three
years. Early handbooks are now
collectors items and when found can
command large sums of money.
The
latest edition of our Club Handbook
(2008) is dedicated on this occasion to
the 75th Anniversary of its publication
in 1933. That first edition was a slim
affair of some fifty pages, of which
about twenty were contributed by the
Members. Now we have over 200 pages,
with 185 (a record) being presented by
more than 100 Members. However, the
basic concept of the Handbook remains
unchanged. We have this time broken new
ground by introducing colour into the
Member's illustrations.
Sorry the
Club's Centenary Year Handbook, (red
cover) is now sold out.
The 2005
-2006 Handbook (Black Cover) and the
latest edition (Purple Cover).
These can be purchased at
our Club events or by post from the Hon.
Secretary.
